What is Credit?
In MsgBox, Credits are the unit of measurement specifically used for SMS Broadcasts. You can think of them as "points" or "units" required to send text messages.
How to Get Credits?
- Included with Plans: When you subscribe to MsgBox Basic, Professional, or Enterprise plans, the system provides a monthly allowance of Credits based on your plan level. View included quotas for different plans
- Additional Purchase: If you use up the Credits included in your plan, you can purchase more at any time based on your business needs. How to buy more Credits?
Credit Consumption Rules
MsgBox uses a transparent billing method to ensure every expenditure is clear:
- Base Billing: When conducting an SMS Broadcast, sending 1 SMS consumes 1 Credit.
- Character Limits and Splitting:
- The standard length for a single SMS is 78 characters.
- If the SMS content exceeds 78 characters, the system will automatically split it into multiple messages and deduct Credits based on the actual number of messages sent.
Note
When writing your SMS copy, be sure to pay attention to the character counter in the bottom right corner. Messages containing variables (such as customer names) will affect the final Credit deduction based on the length of the actual filled content.
