What are MsgBox Channels?
In MsgBox, a "Channel" is the gateway through which you establish contact with your customers. By connecting channels from different platforms, you can centrally manage communications and leads from across the web.
MsgBox channels are mainly divided into two categories:
- Chat Interaction Channels: Support two-way real-time communication and can be combined with AI Agents for automated customer service.
- Form Integration Channels: Specifically used to collect customer lead information from major advertising platforms (such as Baidu, Douyin, and Xiaohongshu).
Channel Usage and Configuration
You can connect channels from different platforms or create multiple channels on the same platform based on your business needs.
- Basic Quota: Different subscription plans include different numbers of basic channels. View Plan Details
- Flexible Expansion: If the basic quota is insufficient, you can purchase additional add-ons as needed at any time. How to add channel usage?
Channel Usage Calculation Rules
To help you better manage your quota, please refer to the following usage calculation standards for each platform:
1. Chat Interaction Channels
| Platform Type | Calculation Standard | Remarks |
|---|---|---|
| WeCom (WeChat Work) | Each WeChat Customer Service account counts as 1 channel | Supports connecting multiple customer service accounts |
| WeChat Official Account | Each Official Account counts as 1 channel | Supports connecting multiple Subscription or Service accounts |
| Each WhatsApp number counts as 1 channel | Corresponds to one WhatsApp Business account | |
| SMS | The SMS feature as a whole occupies only 1 channel slot | Regardless of the sending volume |
2. Form Integration Channels (Forms)
Form channels do not occupy the channel quota.
If you receive an "Insufficient Quota" prompt when connecting a new channel, please check if there are test channels no longer in use that can be deleted, or go to the Plans & Billing page to purchase add-ons.
