How to Use the Acquisition Assistant?
The Acquisition Assistant (获客助手) is an official customer acquisition acceleration tool launched by WeCom. It simplifies the traditional "Scan QR to add friend" process into a "Click to add follower" experience. When customers click an acquisition link, they are redirected to WeChat in a single step to add a staff member.
Core Scenarios
Acquisition links offer exceptional compatibility and can be applied in:
- Inside WeChat: WeChat Ads, Channels (Video Accounts) detail pages, Official Account articles.
- Outside WeChat: Douyin/Xiaohongshu/Baidu ad landing pages, SMS broadcasts, website buttons, App event pages.
Steps

Initiate Creation Go to Settings > Channels > WeCom > Acquisition Assistant, and click "Create Acquisition Link".

Set Link Name Enter an Acquisition Link Name. This name is for internal MsgBox management notes only and will not be shown to customers.

Configure Assigned Staff Select staff members on the left and click the ">" button in the center to confirm your selection.
- Distribution Logic: The system supports associating up to 500 members. When a customer clicks the link, the system automatically distributes the leads evenly among these staff members.

Set Verification Method Choose whether "Verification" is required when customers add members. For maximum conversion, it is generally recommended to disable verification.

Save and Get Link Click "Confirm". The system will generate a unique acquisition link, which you can copy and configure in your advertisements or website.
- Interconnection Account Permissions: Selected staff members must have enabled WeCom Interconnection Accounts; otherwise, the link will not redirect properly.
- Official Quota Billing: The Acquisition Assistant is a feature billed by WeCom officially based on the number of followers added. Please ensure your WeCom admin backend has a sufficient balance.
