What is Required to Use the Forms Feature?

Forms are a core feature of MsgBox for capturing external leads and achieving fully automated record creation. Before you start configuration, please ensure you meet the following basic requirements:


1. Subscription Requirements

The Forms feature is supported across all MsgBox subscription tiers:

  • Trial
  • Starter
  • Professional
  • Enterprise

2. Quotas and Permissions

  • Form Quantity Quota: Each version includes a different number of active form quotas. If you receive a "Form limit reached" prompt during creation, please refer to How to add usage/purchase additional seats or delete legacy forms that are no longer in use.
  • Management Permissions: You must have Administrator (Admin) permissions or a user role with "Channel Management" editing rights to create and modify forms.

3. Channel Authorization Readiness

Since forms are typically linked to advertising campaigns, please prepare the corresponding external accounts based on your business scenario:

Why is a Form API needed?

A MsgBox form is essentially a "data receiver." After you design the fields in MsgBox, the system generates an API Push Link. By pasting this link into the backend of the advertising platforms mentioned above, leads can be synchronized across platforms in real-time.

Automation Suggestion

To maximize the value of forms, we recommend learning about Contact Sync Rules before configuration. This allows the system to immediately create a profile in the CRM once a customer submits a form, eliminating the need for manual entry.
