What is Required to Connect a WeChat Official Account?

Before integrating your WeChat Official Account into MsgBox, please ensure your account meets the following version requirements and official qualification configurations.

1. Applicable Versions​

All versions of MsgBox support connecting to WeChat Official Accounts, including:

  • Trial
  • Basic
  • Professional
  • Enterprise

2. WeChat Official Account Qualification Requirements​

To ensure the API can be called normally (for message sending/receiving, template message pushing, etc.), you need to prepare the following:

  • Account Type: Supports Subscription Accounts or Service Accounts.
  • Business Verification: The Official Account must have completed Official WeChat Business Verification.
  • Account Status: Ensure the Official Account has passed the annual review and is in a compliant operating state.
Core Restrictions
  • Verification Required: Unverified Official Accounts cannot be connected to MsgBox via the API.
  • Administrator Permissions: The person performing the QR code authorization must be the Primary Administrator of the Official Account.

3. Operational Preparation​

  • Administrator's Mobile Phone: Have the personal WeChat account bound to the primary administrator's identity ready for scanning the authorization QR code.
